About Online Exams
Online-exams.com is a free, independent exam preparation platform. We publish exam guides sourced from the official exam bodies, original timed practice tests with full explanations and simple study tools, so anyone can prepare for a high-stakes test without paying for a course or creating an account.
What We Publish
Every exam on the site gets three things: a guide that explains the exam using facts from the organization that runs it, at least one full practice test written for this site, and links to the tools that help you plan and review. We cover driving permits, English proficiency tests, college admissions, the US citizenship test, IT certifications, healthcare licensing, professional licensing, aptitude tests, finance credentials and high school equivalency exams.
The practice tests run in your browser. They are timed like the real exam, scored the moment you submit and followed by a review of every question with the correct answer and the reasoning behind it. You can retake the same set or draw a new random set from the question bank as often as you like.
How We Work
Exam facts such as fees, durations, question counts and pass marks come from the official exam body. Each fact on an exam guide shows its source, the date that source states and the date we last verified it. When an official figure is not published, we say so instead of estimating it.
Practice questions are written by our editorial team in the style of each exam. We never copy questions from official tests, published prep books or other question banks. The one exception is the US civics test, where the questions themselves are published by US Citizenship and Immigration Services as public-domain study material. Online-exams.com has been a registered domain since 1997 and is operated by a small independent team of editors and developers. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any testing organization, licensing board or exam vendor. Exam names on this site are trademarks of their owners and are used only to identify the exams we help you prepare for.
How the Site Is Funded
The site is free to use and is supported by advertising. Ads never appear inside a test, between a question and its answers or on our policy pages, and they never change what we publish. You can read how advertising and cookies work on the site in our privacy policy.
